Reasons Why Conservatives Must Defeat Hillary****
...(C)onservatives need to continue to hold the feet of the GOP to the fire, as we did in the illegal immigration fight, we should not forget the potential perils of having a Democratic President at this sensitive time in our nation's history. Consider the following: Kyoto: Clinton is a supporter of the Kyoto Protocol, which would cause energy prices to soar and would seriously damage the American economy even though most environmentalists will admit that it won't significantly cut the amount of greenhouse gasses being produced by mankind. Corruption: Her brother was paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to help get pardons from her husband. During Hillary's previous stay in this White House, trips to the Lincoln bedroom were handed out for campaign contributions. She actually drew up legal documents that were used in the Whitewater land scheme and she got away with being bribed through a crooked cattle futures deal. Hillary Clinton would be one of the most corrupt Presidents ever to sit in the White House. Tax Hikes: Hillary is a diehard socialist and will certainly slow the economy down and take more money out of the American people's pockets with a tax hike. She has even voted against ending the marriage penalty and the child tax credit. Amnesty and Open Borders: Hillary is a big supporter of comprehensive immigration reform for illegal aliens and with a Democratic Congress to help her, it's entirely possible she'll be able to succeed where George W. Bush failed with amnesty. Losing Iraq: In 1975, Democrats deliberately delivered South Vietnam into the hands of the Communists by cutting off the aid and air support that we had promised them because the Dems believed it would benefit them politically. The result was a Communist takeover of Vietnam, genocide, an enormous loss of American prestige, and a crisis of confidence in our military that wasn't truly reversed until George Bush won the Gulf War. If Hillary Clinton becomes President and we are still in Iraq, she will deliberately lose the war early on in her presidency because she will believe that she can blame it on George Bush. That will allow her to avoid taking on a politically unpopular war. The result of her actions would likely be a huge victory for Al-Qaeda, genocide, an enormous loss of American prestige, and a crisis of confidence in our military. Disaster In The War On Terror: When Bill Clinton was in power, the 2nd Intifada started, Al-Qaeda launched terrorist attacks at America practically with impunity, he turned down an offer of Sudan to hand over Osama Bin Laden, Pakistan and India built nuclear programs right under our noses -- and we believe North Korea built nuclear weapons. If Hillary were to become President, expect North Korea to become a permanent nuclear power, Iran to start a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, and Al-Qaeda to get a breather to rebuild their forces because Hillary will be more concerned with whether Europe likes us or not than stopping another 9/11. Additionally, she would certainly curtail the wiretapping of terrorists and would treat them as mere criminals instead of unlawful combatants, which would significantly hurt our intelligence gathering and make another 9/11 much more likely. Socialized Medicine: If Hillary Clinton gets her way and we have socialized medicine in this country, taxes will soar, the quality of medical care will decrease, and the wait times to get surgeries will grow enormously. Supreme Court: Currently, the Supreme Court is balanced on a knife's edge. There are 4 originalist judges who believe in sticking to the Constitution, 4 liberal judges who view the Court as nothing more than a Super Legislature than can be used to push a left-wing agenda, and one moderate judge. That means the Supreme Court nominees of the next President of the United States will likely tip the balance of the court dramatically to the left or right and with Hillary, of course, you can be sure that the judges would be extremely liberal. We don't know who the Republican nominee will be yet, but whoever he is would have to be an enormous improvement over the massive head-on car crash in an earthquake that a Hillary Clinton presidency would be for America. ---John Hawkins, TownHall.com August 17, 2007
Before Harry Reid was forced to wave the white flag on the amnesty bill, Obama and Clinton had an opportunity to vote on the Coburn amendment and of course they were against enforcing current law...I heard the vote live on C-Span. Note from Dr. Coburn Thursday, June 7, 2007 Today, the Senate rejected by a 42-54 vote Dr. Coburn's amendment to secure our borders. The federal government has an obligation to secure the borders and enforce our laws. Yet, our borders are not secure and illegal immigrants are not being deported despite numerous laws on the books today. Because of this, the American public has lost confidence in the federal government's ability to secure our borders and enforce existing immigration laws. Dr. Coburn's amendment (Amendment No. 1311) to the Senate immigration bill (S. 1348) called on Congress to secure the borders and enforce existing immigration laws before new sections of the immigration bill can be implemented. In a press release, Dr. Coburn said, “The American public cannot trust any new promises made by the Congress concerning immigration because the federal government has not kept its word. ... Congress’ broken promises have caused the American public to lose trust in the government’s ability to secure our nation’s borders and address our problems with illegal immigration. The first step in any immigration reform proposal must begin with securing our borders. Our country is based upon the rule of law and tolerating illegal immigration undermines this principle. This amendment is a step in the right direction to restore the public’s faith in Congress’ willingness to protect our nation by securing our borders and enforcing the law." For an immigration bill to receive his support, Dr. Coburn has said the bill must secure our borders and enforce existing laws, and it must not contain an amnesty provision of any kind. The bill must improve our visa system and prosecute those businesses which knowingly employ illegal workers. The bill must give law enforcement officials the necessary resources and authority to combat illegal immigration and deport those violating the law. The bill must not give illegal immigrants government welfare benefits of any kind. Dr. Coburn also supports designating English as our official language. He also believes we should reconsider the intent of the 14th Amendment regarding birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants.

The director of North America's SuperCorridor Coalition has gone to war against an Oklahoma state legislator, trying to distance the tri-national group from any identification with a new "NAFTA Superhighway" or any movement to evolve NAFTA into a North American Union. The conflict began when Republican Oklahoma state Sen. Randy Brogdon entered an amendment to an Oklahoma bill (HB 1819) requiring the state's Department of Transportation "shall be prohibited from participating or entering any negotiations or agreement with NASCO." Brogdon's amendment further specified, "No state funds or federal funds dedicated for state use, shall be used for any international, integrated, or multi-modal transportation system." Brogdon also has sponsored Senate Concurrent Resolution 10, an Oklahoma legislature resolution urging the U.S. to withdraw from the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America and any other activity that seeks to create a North American Union, and to oppose any NAFTA superhighways. Open Borders an American Conspiracy? With all things being equal and if the world was fair, the people could be confident that all elected officials would be selfless individuals that only wanted to serve and had the best interest of the people in mind. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case and the border problem is a perfect example of the powerful looking out for their selves. Here are a few obvious reasons the powerful turn a blind eye to the border. Liberals see millions of illegal aliens translating into millions of new union members and votes for democrats. The irony of this argument sheds some light on the fight against English only. Most Mexican citizens are self reliant, strongly religious, family oriented and conservative which are all republican principals. They vote democrat because they want to participate in America’s Democratic process. It’s a simple vocabulary misunderstanding. Conservatives see millions of illegal aliens translating into millions of dollars that will be donated to churches and millions of cheap laborers to do the jobs “Americans will not do.” Bureaucrats see the chaos as a way to insures budget increases and job security from the strain on America’s social safety nets. Also, the taxes flowing from illegal aliens are seen as free money for politician’s pork projects Not to mention the criminals who see the vast amount of money generated through illegal drugs, today’s modern version of bootlegging. It is also no coincidence that throughout history the most powerful people’s money has revolved around bootlegging. As shown, the reasons for turning a blind eye to the border problem and the groups involved are as different and varied as one can imagine. On the surface the rampant inaction and active opposition to securing our border seems based on garden variety greed and historic struggles for power at different levels. However, this is a distraction to a truly insidious reason for not securing the border, total abdication of America’s identity and sovereignty.
The recent Kilo decision which allows government to seize private property for economic reasons cleared the way to create the North America Super Corridor. This is real. As reported in the “Tulsa Beacon” of Tulsa and the “Banner” of Adair, OK, Lockheed Martin is currently working on the $40 million deal to create a network of high-tech sensors to track cargo along the corridor which will run from southern Mexico thru the heartland into Canada. Also an Australian investment group connected with toll roads has been buying up local papers along the corridor to make sure there are no dissenting opinions heard on this ultimate betrayal of the American people. This is just the first step towards the goal of a continuous North American trade block with no borders and one common currency. When combined with the existing electronic information gathering systems that are in place today and the plans to electronically tag all domestic animals (under the guise of protecting our food supply, but when did you contract mad cow from eating a cat?) and the mandated national identification system we can all kiss our individual freedoms good bye. This is wrong on so many levels and must not be allowed to happen. When one is aware of illegal activity and is in a position to stop it but turns a blind eye, only one conclusion can be reached. That person is agreeing to the illegal activity and by definition becomes a member of a conspiracy*. *Conspiracy. If our elected official cannot see the big picture, then they are not qualified to hold their positions. If they are greedy enough to ignore the big picture, they are not qualified to hold their positions. If they have a hand in this travesty, they should be treated as traitors.
